Dear community of Puerto Rico Composta:

Puerto Rico is facing a pandemic situation of the Covid-19 virus. For this reason, we have made the determination that the Composta Kidz Club in March and the Nos Vamos Pa' Loíza green contact excursion scheduled for April 4 be suspended until further notice. .
All our workshops will be as webinars until the situation normalizes.
Experts indicate that the appropriate way to face Coronavirus is prevention. If we manage to adopt healthy behavior, go to health services in a timely manner and assume a responsible attitude towards others, the consequences of this threat will be greatly reduced. It is important to raise awareness and carry out the hygiene practices recommended by the CDC, such as:
· Avoid physical contact with people.
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
· Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth without first washing your hands.
· Stay home when you are sick.
· Cover your mouth and nose with your forearm or a disposable tissue when coughing and/or sneezing. When using a tissue, you should throw it in the trash (don't use your hands).

We urge you to take preventive measures for the well-being of yourself, your family and our beautiful island.
